Mohammed bin Salman
Mohammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud was born August 31, 1985. He is the youngest defense minister in the world and is the first in line to the throne. He was appointed Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia in June, 2017, following his father's decision to remove Muhammad bin Nayef from all positions. He is also serving as first deputy prime minister, president of the Council for Economic and Development Affairs.
In 2016, Prince Mohammed introduced "Vision 2030," which is aimed at making the kingdom the heart of the Arab and Islamic world, an investment powerhouse and a hub connecting three continents. It seeks to diversify and privatize the economy, making it less reliant on oil.
One of bin Salman's most notable reforms was the removal of the ban on female drivers.
